Hello, I'm Juliet.
I'm a family, maternity, newborn, branding photographer and videographer based in Kent, and photography, for me, has never just been about pretty pictures. It's about presence. About noticing the moments that most of us are too busy living to actually see.
Why I do this
If you are excitedly waiting for your newborn, celebrating the birth of your new addition, or wanting to record the joys of having a beautiful family, I have experienced those stages too, and I understand how precious they are. That's not a marketing line. It's the reason I picked up a camera in the first place: because I know exactly how fast this all goes, and how much you'll want to hold onto it.
How I work
I will ensure your session is relaxed but fun, guiding you from the moment you make an enquiry all the way through to the images being delivered into your hands. There's no stiff posing, no forced smiles, no pressure to perform for the camera. Instead, we build a session around who your family actually is, the way you play, the way you hold each other, the little quirks that make you, you.
My approach is documentary led wherever possible: I'd rather capture the real laugh than the rehearsed one. That's where the magic actually lives.
Beyond family, working with business owners
If you are a female business owner and would love new photos to tell a story about you and your business, I'm here to plan the session with you. You will receive photos that can tell your business story as well as letting your clients see who you really are, not a stock photo version of you, but the real one.
My experience
Across family, maternity, newborn, branding and event photography, I've had the privilege of documenting so many different chapters of people's lives, from the anticipation of pregnancy, through the blur of newborn days, into the everyday chaos and joy of family life, and the milestone celebrations that bring everyone together. Every session teaches me something new about the families I work with, and I bring that experience and care into every single booking.
