Introduction

I'm Juliet, trading as Wonderloves Photography, based in Sevenoaks, Kent. I take your privacy seriously and only collect the information I need to run my photography business and look after you as a client. This policy explains how I handle your data and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Information I collect

When you enquire or book a session, I may collect:

  • Your name, email address and phone number, so I can respond and stay in touch about your booking.
  • Details you share in your enquiry or questionnaire, such as family details, the type of session, preferred dates and any access or care needs.
  • Delivery address, where relevant for prints and products.
  • Payment information is handled by your payment method provider; I do not store full card details.
  • Images from your session, which form part of your client record and gallery.

How I use your information

I use your information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and plan your session.
  • Manage bookings, deposits and payments.
  • Deliver your edited images and gallery.
  • Fulfil orders for prints, albums and framed products.
  • Keep you updated about your booking, and occasionally share offers if you've agreed to receive them.

Legal basis

I rely on your consent when you first get in touch, on the contract between us once you book, and on my legitimate interests in running a small business (such as keeping records and showing my work). Where I send marketing, I'll only do so with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Data retention

I keep client records and gallery images for as long as is useful for delivering your service and handling any follow-up orders, and then securely delete them when they're no longer needed unless I'm required to keep them for legal or tax reasons.

Sharing your data

I don't sell your data. I only share it where needed to deliver your service, for example with a lab for print orders, or with my gallery platform to host your images. Such providers only receive what's necessary and handle it under their own privacy obligations.

Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies. See the cookie policy for details on the types used and how to manage them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you.
  • Ask me to correct it if it's inaccurate.
  • Ask me to delete it, subject to record-keeping obligations.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

Many of my sessions involve babies and children. Information about children is provided by, and handled through, a parent or guardian, and images are only taken and shared with that parent or guardian's agreement.

Contact

To exercise any of your rights, or to ask a question about your data, email me at Julietwonderlovesphotography.co.uk. I'll respond as soon as I can, usually within a few days.
